Of Harry Potter and Tattoos

I have wanted to get a Harry Potter tattoo forever to reflect how much the series has meant to me, but I'm loath to use the Deathly Hallows symbol.

Aside from the fact that it's essentially the swastika of the Wizarding World, it wasn't even a symbol until the seventh book. For my entire childhood, "Harry Potter" was associated with a symbol of lightning or glasses. To now say that the Hallows are the end-all-be-all symbol of the HP-verse feels like a betrayal of all those years, which are really the years I want to reflect with tattoo.

Nothing is as elegant as that damn triangle, though! What other tattoo designs have you used or seen, Harry Potter fans?
